NORWICH – The Norwich Youth Wrestling Program had over 20 wrestlers in all compete over the weekend in the NYWAY Southern Tier Regional Qualifiers in Whitney Point on Saturday, March 2, and in both the Sherburne Earlville Tournament and the Shamrock Showdown in PA held Sunday, March 3.

A special congratulations to Gavin Portelli (3rd place), Bennett Black (4th place), Lucas Button (1st place), Connor Alger (1st place), Koltyn Collins (2nd place), Bryson Gray (4th place), Wyatt Wildenstein (3rd place), and Drew Telesky (1st place) for qualifying for the NYWAY Open State Championships that are being held this Saturday and Sunday at the Exposition Center-NYS Fairgrounds, Syracuse.
